Breast Augmentation Recovery Kit
March 20 , 2008 -
The breast augmentation recovery kit was recently introduced by BioElectronics Corporation (BIEL).
The new kits supposedly give patients who have just undergone the operation relief of edema and post operative discomfort.
Kits Offer Relief
The 1 Day Breast Recovery Kit, which was developed by Dr. Barry Eppley, was designed so that patients can return to their active lives only a day after surgery.
The kits use the ActiPatch to relieve edema and discomfort without the administration of drugs, ice, or topical ointments to relive any post-operative pain.
A Good Alternative?
Reports claim that the system is a good alternative to the pain pumps that are usually suggested after surgery.
The kits are supposedly more affordable and don’t pose any risk of infection as the pumps do.
ActiPatch
The ActiPatch is a drug-free patch that reportedly prevents inflammation and comes with an embedded battery operated microchip that delivers continuous therapy.
This device is FDA approved for the treatment of edema.
